Getting Ready For Christmas

Getting Ready For .... CHRISTMAS!!!
Please bear with me .. the pictures posted backwards and I really just don't have time to change them right now:)
I considered getting a FAKE tree this year due to the time and energy it would take to pack up two kids and find a nice tree ... however, my sweet husband talked me out of it and the memories we would be making. I am so glad he did!! We had a GREAT time! The weather was beautiful and we found a beautiful tree. Liam really enjoyed the outdoors as always and riding in the wagon finding a tree. Quinn slept in the Bjorn - so all went well.
Our childproof christmas tree .... the bottom half consist of Liam ornaments:) and Larry too!

Arizona Fun in the Sun

We just arrived back from a week vacation in Arizona visiting Todd's sister and family. What a fun and 'warm' time it was. Liam really, really enjoyed playing with his older cousins. They kept him quite busy. He was exhausted by the end of the day. We enjoyed a variety of activities including a trip to the zoo. I am not a zoo person ... but this was the BEST zoo I have ever been to. We were able to see monkeys within 3 feet of us ... and most of the other animals were really close also. And it didn't smell like a zoo which was my favorite part:)
We also spent some time at a train park .... Liam enjoyed riding the train. We also were able to spend some time in the water ...
Although it is nice to be home, I will admit that I really miss the sun and warmth. But I am sure that the holidays along with 2 babies should make these coming winter days go quickly - or at least I am hoping:)

Baby Q is here!

Baby Quinn is here.

8lbs 1 oz
22 inches long!!!
Yes ... he is bruised! He came so quickly .... that his face was really bruised. But he is healthy!

Liam loves his baby "Q" already!
So I am a little late in blogging and posting pictures of our sweet baby "Q" who arrived about 2 weeks ago. My labor went well, but there were some complications after from hemorrhaging - so I am just now feeling like I can function. Plus taking care of my beautiful boys keeps me quite busy these days. I hope to get some more pictures posted soon.

Adventures

This cute little creature was in our yard and Larry caught him - lucky for him, Larry has a soft mouth and Todd was out there to tell him to drop it:) It then preceded to run up the house ... Todd said it's heart was racing. Both Liam and Larry enjoyed watching him for quite a while. Even days later - both Larry and Liam look up to see if it is still there - very cute! I am sure he won't be visiting us again anytime soon:)

IOWA - Labor Day Weekend

We went to Farley this past weekend to visit some dear friends who are like Grandpa and Grandma to Liam.  It was a long drive being 8 months pregnant, but we enjoyed our time there. Liam was able to see the horses, Daddy was able to go to a football game and mom and dad even got out by ourselves for a bit while Grandpa Jim and Grandma Jane watched Liam.

Liam loved his football Grandpa Jim brought back for him from the football game!
